I can't express how much your replies all mean to me Every day I look at my little boy and I am just reminded of him plopping face-first onto the floor and I want to cry.

But, he really is okay! I guess I just get caught up in the possibilities of what could've happened, and man what could've happened was bad...

Glad he's ok. Don't dwell on what could have happened because your mind will go into dark places and you'll torture yourself. He's fine, lesson learned

Just to add today my son was in his carrier strapped to my chest. I tripped over a loose cobblestone and he hit his head on the concrete hard. He has a massive lump and we are in hospital overnight but he's ok babies are so robust.

OH MY GOSH. I am glad to hear he's okay, but it's terrible you're in the hospital.... what happened to you is also one of my greatest fears... I've got horrible balance (I sprained my ankle twice a year for like 4 years straight) and I tripped and fell when I was 29wks pregnant with LO... Thankfully, I catch myself better now when I have him in my arms, but I am so nervous walking with him.

Plus, LO being a chunky monkey doesn't help
