• Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The admin team will continue to work on existing issues, templates and upgrade all necessary available addons to minimize impact of this new version.

My baby doesn't...

I tried blocking her and she still wont, lol! She is really headstrong though. She also shows a massive preference for her left hand so we think she is going to be left handed. She is also being investigated for a weird clicky right shoulder (suspected shallow socket) so that might be the issue.

I haven't ever seen her smile. My OH got a smile yesterday by giving her a "beardy" but she hasn't done it since!

In saying that there are loads of things which she is advanced with (particularly head control and standing with minimal support) so I recognise she may just be good at different things.

We had a lefty over here too! I was freaked out about it for the longest time, but in the past month or so, she has started using her right hand so much more, and judging by her fork/spoon/scribbling preference, it looks like she's probably right-handed ... at least for the time being. :haha:

I honestly wouldn't have ever thought it, as she was that obsessed with her left hand, side and everything left lol - she even teethes pairs of teeth left first and has slightly more hair on the left side of her head?!

It definitely takes them a while to develop a sense of humour and start giving reliable interactive smiles on a regular basis. I remember being so excited every time LO smiled at me as they were rare to begin with.

So to deviate from the "my baby doesn't," I just thought I'd say what he has started doing:

He actually said what I'm considering his first word. He said "Mama" and this time it was pretty clear that he knew what he was saying rather than it being un-clear or just babbling. He also signed "more" which I haven't seen in several months. He even signed "more food."
