My baby weighs 11lb 4oz at 6 weeks old!

My little chunk was only a little dot at 6lb 0.5oz at birth and was 10lb 8.5oz at 6 weeks!! He's now 9 weeks and weighs 12lb 5oz! so he's more than doubled his birth weight already! I was a bit concerned that he's put on over 6lbs in 9 weeks but the health visitors seem really pleased and say there's no problem. I'm breastfeeding too! x

Aw! Don't worry hun the weight gain will probably slow down! Leo was born at a dinky 6lbs 10oz but he was 3 weeks early so would of been big if he was born on time! At 7 weeks he was 11lbs 6oz but now at 22 weeks he's only 16lbs 2oz so he went from gaining 1lb a week at first to 1lb a month now x x x

That is pretty big. My daughter was 12lb 7oz at her six week check, i couldn't believe it.​
