Well shes been on & off all day now the odd lil crys & moaing alot like shes in pain, do babys do this when they are teething? As i think she may be or could it be something else???

could be teething pain hun archies already started at 8 weeks old...is she trying to chew her fists/dummy?? or drooling also are her gums a little lumpy and feeling hard??

if its this id try some bonjela teethking gel(suitable from 2 months old) or a dot of anbesol liquid these have calmed archie right down xx

yeah shes been slobbering loads & she keeps spitting her dummy out & biting her hands. she keeps letting lil crys out like shes in pain but then goes asleep after it shes been feeding ok & stuff, dya think thats what it might be?

i think she def starting to teethe i would buy some baby bongela and give it a try archie was so bad he screamed everytime i put a bottle in his mouth and went down to about 12oz of milk a day from 30!! i put some bonjela in his mouth and he drained a 6oz bottle 5 mins after
another trick is to massage her gums with a cold finger i put my finger in the freezer for a min to get it cold then rub his gums it seems to help loads
xx

ashton pasons teething powders work better than teething gels, i found that faith just swallowed the gel... the are in a blue and white box, settle teething babies in a few mins i swear by them xx

ooooo where can i buy them from? are they expensive and how do you use them???

sory for hijacking the thread xxxx

ive heard loads about them, when can a baby start having them shes 3 montsh on friday are they ok for her & yeah where sells them x

The Ashton and Parsons powders can be bought from Boots. Its a bit tricky giving them the powders if you are on your own but you basically have to give them half a sachet and I just tap it on babies tongue and it disolves itself.

awww poor thing she sounds quite unsettled, lucas has a couple of days like that and it was a nightmare all i wanted to do was sleep it was such hard work.

If it is teething bongela is great as is calpol for the pain and you could try giving her some teething things instead of her hands although we all know how babies never do the sensible thing and insist on what they want lol

Gripe water could help if she has wind ...also if you roll a small blanket under her legs in her moses or crib that helps too whist they are uncomfortable :D

these are amazing, I put it on a teaspoon, much easier than the paper they are wrapped in

i just let her lick my finger so the powers stick and she sucks them off easy peasey....
