My best friend...

Is my OH.
We spend every single day together and it never gets boring. He dares me to different, challenges me to better myself and encourages me to live life to the full. He is clever, brilliant, strong, brave, interesting and I'd be nothing without him. He loves me, he loves Robyn and he makes me happier than I ever imagined I could be.

I just wanted to post this because men seem to get a hard time on bnb and it makes me sad because some men are wonderful and they should get the praise they deserve. I know there are some brilliant single mothers out there, I'm not saying there isn't and I dont want to rub my relationship in anyones face. I just want to give people hope, and make people happy. There truly is someone out there for everybody.

Oh, and he hasn't had a hair cut or trimmed his beard since LO was born. But we've been too busy. My little tramp.

After breaking up with the guy I thought I would be with for the rest of my life and eventually have children with, I was (and still am a bit) completely devastated. But there is ALWAYS hope. Thanks for reminding me!

Before Tom I was with a guy for 2 and a half years. Breaking up with him was the best thing that ever happened to me (clearly). There is ALWAYSALWAYS hope. xx

My hubby and I are best friends as well. Can't imagine my life without him.

We first met when I was 18 and started dating right away. Everyone told me I was crazy. Too young to be so serious (we moved in together after only 2 months) and that it wouldn't last because we are complete opposites. Well here we are almost 8 years later, still super happy, have an amazing son and another one on the way.

Who says you can't find love young?

Ah ha.. I always thought i was odd for my o/h being my best friend, but i'm glad to see other people think the same way too! Many boys/lads/men etc are complete wan*ers, so its good to know there are some out there who are nice!
As for my Dad, he's a bloke and i f*ck*ng hate him, lol.

Awww, this is a lovely thread kate ... my OH is my best friend too..

And sometimes he can really wind me up, but i couldn't imagine not having him.. (and i think that's what best friend's are for).. i can tell him anything, we always have a laugh...
and last night, i was on my way back from my grans and got home about 8 and i'd locked myself out and my mum was working late and i couldn't get through to her, and if she was really late there's a small chance i might not have been able to get in.. (Pregnancy brain - makes me forget things!) but he came round (even though when getting buses it's a bit of a journey - even though it's not that far, you have to keep changing)... i thought it was really sweet!!

Aww I love this thread . My OH is my best friend too. People were skeptical about us too at first. We started seeing each other when we were 18 and I moved into his after two months and we were engaged after 7! He honestly saved me. At 18 I was a mess. I won't go into it but I don't know what kind of mess i'd be in now if he hadn't have kissed me in the first place. We've been together over 3 years now, engaged, have our own house with our little fur babies and a baby on the way so HA to everyone who thought we wouldn't last . I can't believe how far we've come since we first got together and I didn't have a family as a kid so i'm incredibly greatful that I get to have one with my best friend
