My BFP doesnt seen to be getting darker!! PIC

Hi, I know this might seem bonkers but for the last 3 days I have been taking internet cheapy tests and my faint BFP doesnt seem to be darker. I have 2 FRER and the 13 dpo is slightly darker than the 12 but not by much and the internet cheapie using fmu(well kinda I got up in the middle of the night to wee) seems lighter. Im feeling quite on edge as I think that this may be another

Your frer is darker and that's far more reliable than your ics. IC production is unregulated so the amount of dye and antibody per strip varies so you can't rely on them for progression. Your hcg doubles every 48 hours so if at 12dpo your hcg is 15 (possible) then at 13dpo it'd be 22 so the line wouldn't be that much darker. Try not to worry - today you are pregnant. Also, my tests before 14dpo hardly progressed at all x

Thanks so much for your reply. Im just really nervous because of previous losses but I guess im going to have to chill out! I suppose if its ment to be its ment to be Ill just have to keep praying and hoping this one sticks, I have wasted to much time today trying to anylayse IC tests and the amount of times I have touch my boobs(tmi lol) to see if they are still sensitive is unreal. They are but i dont think they are as much as yesterday. I so need to stop obsessing! x

I don't blame you. I'm a bag of nerves too. I cried to my OH this morning because I felt too normal. Pregnancy after losses ruins the innocence of it. Today you are pregnant - keep reminding yourself of that

I know. I phoned the DOCS this morning and there was no appoinments so Ill need to call tomorrow morning or Monday. Now if they know you have had a positive test they dont confirm with a blood test although I would love to have that to see if my HGC levels or BETA or whatever you call them are doubling. But all they do is check your blood pressure and weight etc and refer you to a midwife.(that you dont see untill 12/13 weeks for the first scan but because i have had recurrant misscarraiges I can just phone early pregnancy support so they can give me a scan).

Thats another thing im terrified about going for a scan. But lets take things one step at a time. Lets face it, ladies like ourselves wont enjoy pregnancy and will only be satisfied when there is a healthy bouncing baby in our arms x

Yeah, the NHS can be stingy. Which is hard when you're freaking out after a loss. Shame they can't scrape together the money to run reassurance tests
