A few days ago we got some Dunkin Donuts coupons in the mail, I put them on our counter and mentioned to my husband that I've been craving a DD 'everything bagel' with cream cheese. Well today I find out he apparently forgot me mentioning that and brought in the coupons for some stupid girl at his work that likes Dunkin Donuts coffee! It really bugged me that he would remember to bring them in for her (without even asking me if I wanted them- HELLO they were out on the counter for a reason) but forgot what I said about wanting a bagel from there. Ok I KNOW that's silly, but I actually cried a little because I was so annoyed. Why is he bringing in things for some girl at work anyway?

Ahhh these horomones!!! Have any of you lost it over something dumb yet? Oh and I'm only 6 weeks! uh oh!

That's not silly or irrational. That would make me mad preggo or not. It was insensitive of him and he most definitely should NOT be bringing coupons for some random girl at his office. You need to go up there and mark your territory. Women can be sneaky. She needs to quit chatting your DH up about how much she likes DD. Inappropriate, in my opinion. I'd have been pissed too.

haha i would cry over that to!!

i cried and had a wee bitch at OH last night when we were watching a show about an obease boy getting an operation and i was crying and saying how cute he was and i hope he survives and he is so lovely, and OH was mean about him so i started crying and said not to be mean to him and he should love him and stuff, then i stormed off, it was weird now that i think about it lol

Thats completely understandable! I would have cried to! :growlmad:

My first happened last week when I was camping and hubby saw stars that I couldn't see. I cried I was so sad I couldnt see them... LOL!!!!

Hang in there!!!!

He thinks I'm waaay overreacting, he said they tease this girl b/c she gets DD coffee like 3 times a day so he saw the coupons and brought them in. (always has to be the 'nice' guy) But WHY would I have them sitting out if I wasn't planning on using them??? Ugg. He apologized but thinks I'm being a little silly about it.

thanks I don't feel so crazy!

I know I'll be crying at all the commercials soon too!

I don't think you're being silly about it at all! And if he were my man he'd get an earful every time we passed a dunken donuts for the next 20 years!

I'd tell him some skank's coffee preference shouldn't be of any concern to him. You're not over-reacting at all.

Well, I'm not going to weigh in on whether it was over-reacting or not, depends on how you normally are, etc.

I'm not even 5 weeks yet and I lost it! I wanted to go peek in a baby store that I've driven past every single week for the past 5 months.. chickened out though and couldn't do it alone.. so DH promised to go with me last weekend. Well we had a big emergency on Saturday and he spent 4 hours in the ER with his mom where she was getting stitches for cutting her leg on our baby gate. After we dropped her off at home, I assumed we'd be going to the store.
DH said he wanted to go home and finish eating his lunch as he'd had a rough day. I LOST it and started to get really upset/sad. Then he sighed and said 'fine, we'll go' and I started blubbering about how he didn't really WANT to go.
At one point, I started giggling through my tears because I realized how silly it was!

I did get to go to the store though :haha: We really had to go then since they close before we could go after work, they weren't open on Sunday and they were only open for another 10 minutes or so from when we arrived.

Aweeee.... I did the same thing, started giggling because I knew how irrational I was being but I just couldnt help it!!!

He so owes you a bagel BIG TIME! I don't blame you at all! I would feel the same way!

Oh I so hear ya!! My hubby, lovely though he is, doesn't listen to me! This would be the sort of thing he would do, and then he'd be like "I didn't know you wanted one" and I'd be like "I told you!" and he'd be like "Oh I never heard you say that!". Um, not listening!!

I have been somewhat irrational with my DH as well. I completely lost is last weekend. He had been outside working on the yard and then washed his truck (he loves that truck wayyyy to much) and he comes inside. I was laying down as I was tired and he said ok let's go as he is changing his shirt... i said "aren't you going to take a shower" and he said "No i took one last night" i had dressed up and made myself look nice and we were going to see my family and I was did you really take a shower because I don't think you did...he didn't say anything but went in the other room and started talking under his breath saying he didn't need a 2nd mom...oh I went OFF...and it continued the rest of the day.. bad bad bad... I then went into my I feel like I'm gonna get fat and you won't love me anymore. He said oh I don't care about that... not anything reassuring like you are beautiful and I love you..etc...oh I was soooo angry. so I know whatcha mean..it's gonna be a long time until may.. :)

I just ripped DH's head off because he doesn't remember me telling him we were going to start sorting out our messy house this weekend. I still don't think I was snapping at him that badly, but he completely recoiled and his eyes got all big...
then I kept ripping his head off because he was 'overreacting' to my snapping
