The actual procedure was relatively painless but OMG the cramps afterwards were unbelievable. I get fairly bad cramps anyway but this was something else, I was crying and shaking and rocking for about an hour afterwards until some painkillers kicked in.
On the upside my tubes and uterus are clear, the only thing that was discovered is that my uterus is retroverted (or something like that, its backwards). Apparently this isn't the reason why I haven't got pg but it seems that instead of lying with my legs in the air after sex I should be flat on my face with my bum in the air instead I've been forcing the little spermies the wrong way for the last two years
They kept saying this isn't a problem but it always makes you wonder when something slightly unusual is found, I am concerned as to where I go from here though as I feel I'm heading for the unexplained infertility category and then shown the NHS door (my dp has children)
Next appointment is in a couple of weeks so not long to wait at least
