Thank you sweets! I see that you have some frozen embryos, when will you be doing a transfer?

I'm feeling GREAT!!! Ready for this next season in my life. My friend posted this scripture on FB the other day and I thought it was perfect for me.

"To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven." Ecclesiastes 3:1-11

I'm thankful that I serve a God who is still in the miracle working business and cares deeply about my hearts desires.

How are you and Virtue doing?

That would be a wonderful birthday present! My fingers are crossed and my prayers for you are being lifted! :hugs:

Thanks sweetheart! How have you been doing?

 Hey Sarah! I've been good. Just hanging around here catching up on everyone's journals and threads. DH and I are starting the Dave Ramsey plan to become debt free so we can really put a ton into investing for our future and start looking for a bigger place. We aren't that bad off debt-wise compared to some stories I have read. It will take us about a year and a half to two years to finish it all up but I am so ready to be done with it.

I am thinking about going back to school in about a year or two to get my Master's degree in Business. I found out a few days ago that my alma mater is now offering an MBA degree so now that means I won't have to drive an hour away several nights a week to attend classes when that time comes. If I choose to apply there anyway. I was looking at the University of Alabama and Mississippi State University a while back before I shelved those plans for a while. Expense wise, my alma mater (University of West Alabama) is the best choice. I'm still in very early planning for this degree though. I only started thinking about it again when I found that out about my alma mater. It's all in the good Lord's hands though. I'm going with whatever the Lord has planned out for us, no matter what plans I think I have for myself and my DH.

I am so glad to see that you are getting ready to proceed with your second IVF round. I am stoked for you and hope that you are blessed with your forever baby! :hugs: That pics of you and Taylor in your avatar is so cute!

Stay blessed, sis! :hugs:

That's great! My sis-in-law and her hubby did the Dave Ramsey plan and they are doing really well. It's good to take care of your financial situation, especially since financial situations can take a toll on a marriage.

There is nothing wrong with furthering your education, I'm very proud of you for looking into it. I will definitely pray that the Lord continues to lead you through this life journey :flower:

Yup, round 2...exciting and scary at the same time. I'm just super blessed to have a Supervisor who allows me to leave for what seems like endless appointments. He lets me take off time or I can stay and work a little later to make up the time I was gone. I am doing my best to look at all the positives, even though this time it's a little harder for me to do.

Taylor is getting so big, I can't believe it. She will be starting 5th grade next month and will be 11 in October. I'm so thankful that the Lord has healed her heart in regards to her birth mom. I can't even remember the last time she talked or asked about her. She hasn't seen her in about 2 years and the last time they talked on the phone was at Christmas. I can't even imagine having a child and never seeing or talking to them. We just tell Tay to pray for her.

Oh my goodness! My mother-in-law told me the other day that her nieces daughter, who is 11, just got her menstrual cycle and that I should maybe get some info to talk to Tay about it. YIKES!!! I have no clue what to say.

Any one have any ideas on how I should go about this???

My mom pretty much gave me the birds and bees conversation when I was about that age. She basically told me that a menstrual cycle was my body getting ready to change. It was a little awkward at first but as long as Taylor knows she can ask you anything or talk openly with you about that topic, it will be fine. I think the parents end up more nervous about the topic than the kids are. My mom was pretty straight forward about it without it being uncomfortable.

I was able to talk to both of my parents about me going through all of that. I was a late bloomer with it all. I didn't get my first period until I was almost 15 years old! Nowadays, girls are beginning puberty at an earlier age. Praying that God gives you the words to say when that time comes. She'll be fine! She has two very loving parents that love her tremendously! :)

Thanks hun! Wow, you were a late bloomer. I started when I was 12 years old and I don't remember my mom having the talk with me, but then again, I don't really remember much...bad memory

I'm going to go look and see if maybe there is a book or pamphlet about how to discuss it, so we will see what I can find.

My hospital uses "What's Happening to My Body... A Girl's Guide" and "Period. A Girl's Guide" when we need to explain periods and puberty. We use the first for older girls and Period. for preteens.

Oh Sarah I'm so happy that you don't have to wait months to start the next cycle. Praise the Lord! Will continue praying for you and your family through the process.

Doing really good. Just tired and uncomfortable, its been really hot here. But I know that's nothing compared to what some other ladies go through so I try not to complain. Just ready to have this boy out and in my arms.

It will be here sooner than you know it! You have what, 3 more weeks? When is the due date?
