My Miracle Journey

How cute, I got a text from my mom the other day saying she had a 30% off coupon for a craft store and bought some baby shower cookie cutters.

She is getting prepared :haha:

The cookie cutters are so cute! And I love the blog...and the belly!

woohoo!!! Just finished up my 15th week :happydance:

Yesterday I wanted to stay home all day and not take any of my anti-nausea meds to see if I am fine without them. Thankfully, I was. I ate fine and didn't feel nauseous. Thank you Jesus! I'm trying it out again today, so please pray that all goes well since I'm at work.

Did you get itchy boobs??? Mine itch like CRAZY!!!

Did you have a hard time sleeping on your sides due to achy hips? This started last night. I tried to put a pillow in between my legs and didn't seem to help much. I couldn't take it any more and just slept on my back.
When I did finally fall asleep, I had a dream I went to the Dr's to tell them about my achy hips and they sent me to get an ultrasound to make sure all was ok. The lady who did my ultrasound started telling us the genders and I was thinking, I wanted this to be a surprise, but didn't tell her anything. In my dream there were 2 girls and a boy.

Only 25 more days until we find out!!!

Good Morning GodsJewel!!!

So happy for you and I am counting down the days with you til we find out if our predictions are correct!!! Keeping you in prayer and sharing your story with others as it is so inspiring!!!

God Bless,

I didn't get itchy boobs, but I did get achy boobs...especially in the winter. I got a maternity pillow and that did help me, so maybe you need the full support, not just in between the knees. Also try not to sleep on your back if you can. They say sleeping on your back decreases the amount of oxygen to your babies. My doc said obviously if you roll over in the middle of might you can't help that, but try not to it intentionally. I woke up on my back plenty of times and everything was fine, so don't get nervous...just for future reference.

Do you have deadline for us to get you a pic or clip for the reveal video? I want to participate, just so busy right now, but I definitely am doing it! 2 girls and a boy...your poor husband and son will be overrun by pms, lol.

I think I had itchy boobs and belly. The only thing that helped me was some anti itch oil from motherhood. I couldn't use a lot of the other brands from walmart due to the smell.. And it didnt help me as much anyway. And I ached so bad I did use a pillow but I also went to my chiropractor he helped. You could also try those boppy body pillows. :)

Hi Sarah  figured I'd start stalking you & check up on you glad to see the ms is finally passing. Itchy boobs I def have too I'm just itchy in general. & with sore hips & being able to sleep I def suggest a body pillow. I got a pregnancy pillow they're pricey but I def feel it was money well spent I sleep so great at night. If you can't get one everyone I've talked to has said an ordinary body pillow helped tremendously. Glad to see all is going well :hugs:

Yeah, I have read about sleeping on your sides as well. Thankfully that's how I normally sleep anyways, it's just that one night that no matter what side I slept on I was getting achy. Thankfully last night was better, but I do need to get one of those pillows.

If you can send it to me by March 16th, that would be great! We want to get a head start in putting it together.

I might have to go get some of that oil, thanks for letting me know.

I was also thinking about seeing a chiropractor, I know one of my sis-in-laws saw one during her pregnancy and it helped a lot.

Hi sweetie!

Sadly the ms didn't pass, I still need the medicine. I tossed my cookies twice yesterday and felt horrible. So back to the meds for now, I'm just so thankful that the meds are working.

Were is the best place to find those pillows?

Aww sorry it's not passed but glad the meds are working :hugs:

I ordered mine online off of Walmart.com. I'd suggest looking online for one unless you have a babies r us or target nearby I'm pretty sure those are 2 stores that actually carry them in store & not just online.

Another place to look is maternity stores, like Motherhood. I ordered mind off Amazon and it was the bobby brand. I got the full length one that wraps from my head all the way down to my legs. I think it was about $40-$50, but I know it's closer to $60 in stores.

Sorry the sickness didn't pass hun. Your hormones are going through some serious back flips with triplets which is probably why its holding onto you right now. Hopefully it will let up for you soon though.

It does help a lot. :) The body pillows you can get just about anywhere. Kmart, walmart ,target.

I need your help!!!

Hubby and I need to start a registry soon and I have no clue where to begin.

Can you give me some suggestions of the items you needed most and were most helpful to you and baby???

Thanks :hugs:

An items I really want is a baby sling/wrap but since you're having triplets that probably won't be much help. Also a rocking a chair is def necessary.

Bottles & diapers you'll def need.
a baby swing or bouncy seat of some sort they work wonders when babies are fussy. (Experience with my nephew lol)
Stroller
If you plan on breast feeding you'll need the stuff for that.
Blankets & swaddlers
Clothes
Carseats

Yaaah so many things babies require. I literally pinned so much on pinterest. I realized I really need to start thinking of what I'll need for baby. thanks Sarah you got me thinking now too :)

boucer/swing (works wonders)
Breast pump (gives hubby a chance to bond with baby if you plan to exclusively breast feed and allows you a little time for yourself when you really need it)
Storage bags/containers for breast milk
Steam sterilizer (such a time saver)
Bottle warmer (also a God send)
Feeding/boppy pillow (heard that it really helps with tandem feedings)
Baby monitor (video monitor may give you more peace of mind because God knows how we worry about our little ones. heard there were motion sensor ones too)
w.r.t Baby bottles I found Dr, Brown's to be best for colicy/gripy babies. Other mothers may feel differently, however the best way to avoid gripe is to make sure you eat on time and eat well.

Will add as i remember

hahaha! you're welcome! I had to think about this soon since my baby showers will be when I'm between 20-25 weeks along due to having a high risk pregnancy.

Great!!! thanks so much

Register for swaddle wraps instead of receiving blankets. My blankets only got used in the carseat rolled up so lo was tight. I would suggest NOT registering for clothes. I would put money on it that you will get a ton. I would suggest breastflow bottles if you are breastfeeding. Really look at items and decide whether its something you want or need. There is so much that you will get so little use out of for so little time. We also cloth diaper- huge money saver- unless you get sucked into the latest and greatest and cute prints. We use indian prefolds and covers- best economically and they actually last the longest, and wash/dry the fastest. Let me know if this is a route you think you may go (maybe too much with triplets)- definitely stay away from the ones sold in the box stores......they are horrible.
