My Miracle Journey

Even if you don't use them, cloth diapers. They absorb so much better than spit up towels and are cheaper. Onesies, sleep sacks, swaddles. See if your insurance covers the breast pump, mine did. Gates if you have pets. I'd definitely recommend and all in one pack n' play that has the bassinet at the top. We got one of the bigger ones that also has a changing station on the other side. Their expensive, but when it's all together it saved up in the long run from having to by the bassinet and pack n' play separately. Plus it's convenient for travel. Carseat, stroller, toiletries. Breast pads, nipple cream, cover up for feeding in public. Diaper bag.

If you go to say babies r us, they have a list to help you get started with things you need, and then things you want.

Necessities:
-Gerber cloth diapers to use as burp cloths
-Boppy
-lots of blankets
-diaper bag
-lots of diapers and wipes --stockpile if you can. I really have tried all the diapers and nothing compares to Pampers. Walmart brand is a close second. I love the walmart fragrance free wipes
-butt paste -- the stuff gets rid of any redness in just a few hours
-lots of towels/wash cloths
-sensitive skin/natural body products
-swaddle me/sleep sacks
-onesies
-footie pajamas
-diaper pail
-reusable changing pads and disposable ones
-exersaucer
-high chair
-stroller & car seat
-dr browns bottles
-medela breast pump

Things I didn't use:
-baby tub (we used this piece that came with the tub that she lays on while we clean her)
-bouncer
-swing --sometimes used but she wasn't a fan
-receiving blankets --get a few for swaddling but they grow so fast so the full baby blankets are more useful
-Bumbo
-pacifiers --Daphne refuses to take one. I would buy one for each baby and then wait and see

That's all I can think of right now but I'll add if I think of anything. :)

A friend of mine stockpiled diapers and wipes. When she found out what diapers worked for them, they still kept all the other diapers, but would take a couple of packs back at a time and exchange them until they ran out. She said so many people gave them diapers along with what they stockpiled that they were good on them for a LONG time!

Thank you all for your input! looking at all the stuff I need, x's 3, makes me feel a little overwhelmed

I'm having 5 baby showers and some of them will include a diaper raffle, which means if a person brings a package of diapers, they will get but in a raffle to win a big prize. I read on a triplet blog that having 3 I will go through about 20-30 diapers a day, which equals 600-900 diapers a month!!!

I'm going to try and stockpile as much as I can with my couponing skills, but wholly molly that's a lot of diapers!!!

I saw on pinterest that you can make your own baby wipes. You cut a bounty paper towel roll in half and use 1 cup water, 1 tablespoon coconut oil and 1 tablespoon baby wash...how easy is that!!

I will do my best to start the stockpile now

BTW- I will not be using cloth diapers as I know it will be a little more work and especially with 3. I will also be pumping and not breast feeding, that way Tay, hubby and who ever else is helping can feed the children.

I give you tons of credit for pumping! It's hard enough with one, with three you'll have your hands full!

5 baby showers will be awesome! We had a diaper raffle at my shower too and I am just now starting to need to buy diapers at 6 months. I even have a bunch of newborn packs left to trade in for a bigger size. My MIL works at the hospital and she gets diapers at a great discount. Do you know anyone who works at a hospital that could do that?

Agreed, pumping can be a tiring process, but I think having a schedule down will definitely help. And if you're gonna do diapers Amazon has Amazon mom and gives you 20% off if you subscribe to a monthly delivery. So the huge box we buy that normally cost about $35 in store we get for $25 online and it's delivered. Cheap and convenient, what more can a girl ask for? You can do as many quantities as you need. They have a bunch of stuff for Amazon Mom at the 20% discount, even cleaning supplies.

I have to try that wipes idea though. The cheap streak I'm on right now, I'd probably try to make my own diapers if there was a way, lol.

How are you hun? 16 weeks! Been checking out your blog, love all the photos! Yes, you're definitely showing and they're beautiful! Am I correct that you had a doctor's apt yesterday? How did it go?

I am with NoDoubt I thought today was gender reveal today!!!! I checked out your blog and then BnB but no update...ill be checking first thing tomorrow!

You ladies are right...well, somewhat. I had a dr appt, but that wasn't the gender scan. That is on March 28th.

I just posted on my blog about how the appt went. But I have to share this pic of the trips...

Got to love the thumbs up! Baby C was saying, "Don't worry Mom, everything is good in here!"

I did screen shots from the ultrasound because we didn't get any print outs this time and I didn't even think to ask.

Aw glad everything is good & cute with the thumbs up.

The clinic I go to has these usb bracelets that they upload the scan pics to every time also think it has video but they also give you printouts it's pretty awesome :)

That's cool! My office isn't that high tech :haha:

Just checked out blog...yeah for all being well and yes God is awesome!!!! Can't wait to share with my prayer warriors at our Prayer Group tonight!

Good morning and happy Friday!!!

We have received one video for our gender reveal and are hoping to get more added to our collection soon.

You can send a pic with a poster or paper stating whatever you'd like, some examples, "Congrats!" "You will have 3 times the fun" "Can't wait to to see you" "We are praying for you"...whatever you want to write. For those brave enough, you can send me a 15 second clip of you, your family or little ones dancing around.

If you would like to be part of this joyous moment for us, please email the pic or video clip to [email protected] no later than March 21st, but the sooner the better :winkwink:

Thank you so much :flower:

Sarah, as far as big things I would not get 3 of everything. If you get multiples keep the extras in the box to potentially return- very unlikely you will have all 3 in the same type of thing at the same time....one may love the swing and hate a bouncer or the other way around and so on. Ask for gift cards so as you see your needs then you can get things.

Did the last u/s give any hints to gender?

Thanks for the advice! That's exactly what I read on a triplet blog :haha:

Nope, when they were doing the ultrasound they didn't go anywhere near the genitals, but that's ok.

Here is the ultrasound video from last Tuesday if you want to check it out...

IN 9 DAYS!!!! :happydance: We go on March 28th @ 10am. Tay and I bought 3 girl and 3 boys outfits this past weekend. We are going to have the ultrasound tech write down what each baby is on a card and then have them seal it up. We will then give the clothes, gift boxes and card to my neighbor and she will open the card and put the clothes in each box according to the gender. When she is done she will give the boxes to us to open!!! I'm nervous and excited!
