My mum wants to stay with us just after I've had my baby...am I being unreasonable?

Def not being unreasonable. I remember my mw saying to me last time, in the first few weeks all visitors should be there to help out while you and baby bond. It should be you having time and cuddles and them making tea and putting washing out. My mil was the worst for turning up unexpectedly, like pp said picking dd up when she was asleep and expecting to be waited on, rather than being any assistance. The first few days/weeks are your time, the rest of the family need to wait their turn imo.
