I've picked a million and one different names since i found out i was expecting but I think i've settled on Laila Anise for a girl and Jermaine for a boy..

other names I've liked are
Girls: Anisa, Amira, Amiyah, Demi
Boys: Rome, Junayd, Leon, Khalil

any thoughts on the above!? not to everyones taste I know lol xx

They are certainly different, which is great, because when they're older they wont have to turn around every 5 mins when they hear someone yell their name across Tesco (I STILL do this!!)

I love both your choices, think they're really lovely.

Thanks very much!
My partner has said that aslong as I carry on his family names which are Shah "babyname" Aktar (he's from an asian background) I can pick whatever I like! It's not easy choosing names that go inbetween those two names I can assure you lol!

I love love love Laila! Although prefer the spelling Leila. Also like Amira.

Love Jermaine, but think I prefer Leon. Also Junayd but prefer spelling Junaid x

amaya was on my girl name list with my last pregnancy. you have beautiful names picked out!

How do you pronounce anise?

I like Laila, it is very feminine (a dark haired, pretty girl comes in mind).

I think for Jermaine I prefer the spelling Germaine. Did you think about a nickname for it?
