I want chicken chow mein tonight for tea.

Ive asked her if the chippy by hers do proper chowmein noodles and not the egg noodles.

She says they taste the same but they arnt!

What do you think? What do you prefare?

I thought that they were the same or very close. I like vermicelli and I think that its very similar (ob better at a restaurant though).

Chow Mein Noodles are Wonton Noodles usually.

Ask that and you may get better results.

(I have many Chinese friends and one is particular about his food and gets uptight about people not knowing the differences.)

We have a chippy that does chinese, or are they a chinese that does fish n chips??? either way they are yummy and to me chow mein noodles and egg noodles are pretty much the same thing

Yea I Ordered my food and it was the nice noodles not the egg noodles (I only like them when I do myself a stir fry mmmmmm) just eat we're hopeless haha

Lol do you mean those rice noodles? Our local noodle bar uses rice noodles and they are sooo much better than the noodles used in local chinese's.

A couple of the Chinese takeaways here do fish and chips etc too I always avoid them though as I always assume they'll serve chipper chips with a Chinese meal and I much prefer the kind of chips that the Chinese takeaways do
