My son was intubated.

The twins had been doing really well and then last night my son had to be intubated. My daughter is still doing really well, and my son after intubation stabilized. This morning he was doing even a little bit better. I don't know how to feel. I mean I knew that there would be be setbacks, but I feel so detached and numb today.

having preemies especially twins is a long marathon. There are multiple setbacks and minor victories. My son was intubated 3-4 times, I learned to tell myself 'this is what he needs right now to rest and grow stronger'. Eventually those set backs become smaller and farther apart.
