I'm a bit of a name hoarder... I've been this way ever since I started writing. I've lowered my list a bit; these stick out to me the most. Although I'm a name hoarder I'm PICKY. Like, probably overly so.

I want honest opinions of these boy names;

Elijah
Oliver
Nolan
Xander
Cameron
Jace
Kian/Kyan
Theodore
Gabriel

Elijah LOVE, on the top of our list if we have a boy.
Oliver LOVE.
Nolan Never been a big fan.
Xander Like a lot.
Cameron Mildly like, bit too common for me.
Jace Like.
Kian/Kyan Reminds me of cayenne pepper. Not a big fan.
Theodore Meh. Not my favorite.
Gabriel Love, one of my best friend's name.



Luckily, I won't have to pick a name for a long while.

We have a lot of the same tastes! I really like a lot of those names.

Elijah - 1/10... becoming common
Oliver - 5/10... classic name but a bit common
Nolan - 2/10... sounds like a surname and not a good one
Xander - 1/10... to trendy and common, nothing unique about it anymore
Cameron - 1/10... to posh, the silver spooners at my university have names like this
Jace - 8/10... love this one
Kian/Kyan - 4/10... like it written down but dont like the pronunciation
Theodore - 2/10... to posh, Theo is ok but not my taste
Gabriel - 2/10... quite feminine to me

Jace Oliver is best imho

Elijah - 9/10 I like it but it is becoming very popular
Oliver - 11/10! But I am biased
Nolan - 2/10 Don't like it, makes me think of the Nolan sisters!
Xander - 6/10 On it's own I'm not a fan but as a nn of Alexander it's ok
Cameron - 9/10 Really like it but it is a bit popular in my area (def not posh JJKCB!!! )
Jace - 3/10 Don't like it. Kind of ok as a nn of Jason
Kian/Kyan - 5/10 It's ok. Prefer spelling Cian personally
Theodore - 10/10 Love it! Traditional sounding yet unique. Lots of good nns too
Gabriel - 9/10 Really like it but may be becoming popular. Seen it on here a few times recently

Oliver and Theodore are favourites for me.

Elijah - don't think anyone else would ever make this connection but in the sitcom Spaced in the episode with the art theatre... (not many people have seen it though so i'm guessing no one would make that connection)
Oliver - nice name, a little posh, reminds me of the musical
Nolan - I never knew it was name tbh :L
Xander - not too keen tbh, not sure why though sorry
Cameron - nice name
Jace - I like this and its pretty uncommon yet not impossible to spell or pronounce
Kian/Kyan - wouldn't have the first idea how to pronounce this tbh
Theodore - the little one out of Alvin and the chipmunks still like it though
Gabriel - makes me think of angels/Christmas story... I don't think is like being called Gabriel if I was a boy despite it being a nice name, there's not much you can shorten it to either

I havnt watched that in years lol... dont remember an Elijah though, loved Brian though

i'm glad someone else has seen it there wasn't an Elijah character but the character doing the art theatre shouts "Elijah" in a funny voice during the performance so I always hear the name in that voice xD Brian is a legend!

Oliver - I like it its a good name but not one I would use personally
Nolan - not keen at all
Xander - its ok

Jace - flat out dont like
