From the day of the positive test we called bump KB as in kidney bean and it's just stayed that despite having picked his birth name already. My Dad refers to bump as Baby Smurf with me being Mama Smurf and OH being Papa Smurf!
I don't have much of a bump yet, it tends to come in the mornings and when it does i call it Ol'Lumpy. But because it's not there a lot of the time we call him/her 'Roo'. Simply because my boyfriends nickname has been 'Moo' since he was little and he calls me 'Noo' so we thought Roo was quite sweet. Before this we called him/her Pea because it was the size of a Pea but that isn't very fitting anymore ! xx
My DD has named my bump, she calls it flump lol. No idea why, but as soon as we find out sex and decide on a name we will call it by that so she doesn't start calling the baby flump when it comes out x
I picked the unisex name Frankie as in "Frankie the Fetus" quite early on and we intend to call her that until she's born. In fact, I'm kind of attached to Frankie now so I might call her that a lot after she's born too, even though we have a completely different name picked out for her!
Poppy was "The Bump" and this one is "Peanut" - no idea why just called he/she Peanut one day and it stuck. Saves on doing the whole he/she/it thing (not allowed to call Peanut "he" as DH desperately wants a boy and he thinks it will jinx things but then he also decided one day calling Peanut "her" might jinx things too and I don't like "it" ..... if you understand how my hubby's mind works could you please explain it to me??!!) xx
