Hi ladies. I have a 10 week old and I have between 7 - 10 pounds more to lose. I feel like I have plateaued. What DVD do you think is the best.

I currently mix it up with different Davina ones. I also use a turbo trainer and do circuit style toning exercises at home. I can't do high impact due to a long standing back problem. I would value anyone's opinion on the best fitness DVDs out there xxx

I'd say it's whatever interests you enough to keep you doing it. Do you have any type of activity you enjoy doing?

Check out Youtube, there's a ton of free fitness workouts on it, and you can explore which ones work for you. :flower:

For me, personally, Jillian Michaels is my girl and I love her workouts! My favorite is her kickboxing workout on Youtube, but I've been doing the 30 Day Shred and I'm seeing great results. :happydance:

If you're just looking to lose weight, try tightening your food intake up and watching how much you're eating. The last 10 lbs are a beast to lose! Good luck :flower:

30 day shred, it's on you tube.
Or Rosemary Conley with Colleen Nolan, to me its a gentle aerobic work out and perfect for the tired days but still feel like you have done something.

Thanks ladies. I will check out the 30 day shred and the kick boxing one as I like that sort of stuff. I have just uploaded a food dîary App on my phone. Fingers crossed this works xx

P90X3, no question!!!! It's a program with 16 different dvds, all of which are only 30 minutes long. Some are cardio, some weights, yoga, pilates, etc... There's even an MMA workout! It helps me not get bored, since I tend to have workout ADD... :haha:

Woo hoo. Just measured myself again. I have lost an inch from my chest and almost 2 from my waist. Even though the scales aren't moving quick enough it's nice to see change. Especially when I tried on some of my dresses recently from honeymoon (4 years ago).....they looked BAD!

Yay! Well done! One thing to remember is that whenever you start a new workout program, especially one with strength training, your muscles hold onto water the first couple of weeks. The scale may not be moving because you're muscles (which take up less space per pound than fat) are getting bigger and filling with water to protect themselves. They'll get over it and you'll start seeing loss soon. :)
