I really like the name Ava for a girl but my boss at work has a 3 year old called Ava and I feel like I'm copying her! Silly really cos I've always loved that name. We're not friends outside of work but pretty close and get on really well in work.

Is it silly of me to feel this way? I mean, I'm probably not gonna know this woman in a few years but if I have a girl she'll have this name forever!

I feel stupid, LOL xx

:hugs:

A friend of mine and her close friend both have daughters called Rachel. If you love the name then it shouldn't matter what your bosses kid is called. My mums best friend had her daughter Emily first, then I, Emma was born - so I don't think it matters. You can always say to your boss if you feel awkward. :flower:

Seeing as shes only your boss then i dont see any wrong in using the name , if she was a firm friend outside of work then maybe it wouldnt be such a good idea. xx

Agree she is not a close friend or family. Later you may regret not chosing the name you really wanted.

You're all right! It is my fav name at the moment for a girl and it would be stupid to settle for something else. Thanks xx

I agree with everyone else, and it's a really lovely name :) x
