Ours is Farber so a lot of my favorite boy names ending in -er are out. They sound fine with the middle name Hunter Dale Farber, but with out, Hunter Farber. Sounds weird.

When my mum was preggers with me, if I had been a boy they fancied the name Daniel.....but our surname is Daniels! Daniel Daniels, thank god I was a girl!!

We also have a Jack Daniels in the family...poor poor boy!

With the surname Eli (ee-lie), it takes things that end in an "ee" sound out of the picture! I prefer not to have my kids names sound like a stutter! DH's surname is better, but I'm the last of my surname and he's 1 of 4. So, Eli it is!

Girl names aren't the issue... I have plenty of them! But boys names? Ugh!

I can't have anything that ends in or would be shortened to end in a 'Y'... If it ends in an 'L' then it sounds like their name ends in 'LY'... Not that I dreamed of naming a baby Carl... but pronounce Carl Eli out loud (and kind of run together) and understand my pain! "Carly Lie"

Lol, my OH/FOB surname is Rooney. So obviously Wayne is out, so is Coleen and Kia.
And anything starting in the letter 'r' or ending in sounds such as 'ae' or 'ey' etc.

This thread is brill! sad to say though, i dont really have any funny ones. OH's second name is Owen, so clearly michael and owen are out of the question...
