Which do you like best, Leo or Ethan? Think the middle name would be James x

I voted Leo because I prefer it, but Leo is a nickname for: Leonard, Leonardo, Leopold and Leon..so it might be a little strange to have Leo as his full first name.

I love both, but voted Leo simply because it's not as common as Ethan!

I like Leo, it is my grandfathers name. Just Leo, not Leon or anything. I love it, its not common like Ethan and is a brilliant name!
PS. James is my dh name so that helps as well.

Leo wouldn't be a nickname for anything in this case. Just like some boys are called Max. Not Maxim, Maxwell, etc, just Max. My friend's son is called Tommy. Not Thomas, just Tommy. It's personal choice and I don't think strange at all.

...It's just my opinion. I think Max and Tommy are also both strange to have as full first names, because essentially they are nicknames. Tommy especially as that would look weird on his CV when he's older. Just my thoughts on it though, not trying to be rude, as I say, I really like the name Leo.

I love Ethan. I would have used it but we have a close friend named Ethan.

I have also seen it spelled Eithan as an alternate spelling.
