Hi girls

I am a TTCALer/PAL poster, new pregnancy at 7 weeks. Im posting in here as i was starting IVF when i got pregnant, so am being monitored by ARGC - i just got my natural killer cells back as follows:

CD3 are 'sightly' raised
CD19+5 are '8 points above normal'

does anyone know what the above results mean? how raised are the CD19+5 at '8 points above normal' - the clinic says i will probably need transfusions at £1,000 a time, blood tests every couple of days, immune testing every 3 weeks and daily injections of steroids and clexane if they are to treat me

I feel like they are basically saying i need transfusions and care, to the cost of £7k or thereabouts, or lose the baby.

I dont know what to do and am panicking and feel completely cornered.

Any advice / experience?

Thanks in advance

oh, hun, I have no advice but wanted to send you truckloads of :dust: and then some,

All the best :hugs: xxx

Hi Nato,

I think you should speak to your nhs obstetrician as soon as.,or get your gp on his case.
Let them know about your blood results and what the clinic are suggesting, and hopefully the obstetrician may start you on appropriate meds... I know its all very controversial, and the nhs are probably unlikely to standardise this kind of treatment until there is more research done into nk cells.
I am currently trying to get my fs to start me on steroids for the same thing.(although not had nk testing I have thyroid antibodies, which I've read come hand in hand with nkcells..) So I am not going to pay for the testing, but pushing hard for the steroids..
GL AND HOPE YOU ARE KEEPING WELLXXXX
