Quite the opposite :) You always use verbal ques with the signs so the association is built. Babies have the ability to understand long before they are able to speak.

I would recommend getting a couple of books and starting with a couple of signs at first. We started with milk (as she has it most often) then introduced all gone, bath, Mummy and Daddy.

Love the cow print nappy! :)

Ok, so I stopped BFing last week but I still have milk? Don't know if it's worth trying to restart as I was feeling down about stopping, but didn't think I had any milk left.

Id liked to have given the cloth nappies ago but i cant keep on top of the washing i have now so i didnt bother but regretting it abit now :(

i had around 12 nappies for rhys toria... about 5 a day, chuck them in the wash and use the other 5/6 the next day then swap them over.

i used the pocket nappies though not the ones with covers and seperate nappies

this thread is making me want to put ffion in cloth... lol

Hi ladies can i join? I intend to breastfeed and use cloth nappies when baby is here. I have a large organic vegetable patch which i am finding it harder to keep under control this year due to the big bump. I also compost and recycle nearly everything and i am in the process of making a baby sling. So hopefully i qualify :)
