Nausea?

Following on from the thread about hunger while BFing... does anyone else get nauseas? I sometimes start to feel a bit sick just after Jack latches on. It passes when I gulp down a cold drink, so I guess it's linked to hydration.

Interesting! That happened to me also when I tried to bf, I felt like vomitting.

I get this sometimes, not sure why but I am the same once I have had a cool drink I feel fine????

that hasn't happened to me, maybe it is something to do with being thirsty?

i used to get this. Now i try to make sure i have a drink and somethin light to eat 30 minutes before a feed which i presume gives me a sugar boost and that seems to help.

totally, felt like morning sickness.

I am thinking it may be the uterus contacting and my tummy getting upset.. and hormones

That hadn't occurred to me. It's possible, but it only started in the last couple of weeks. I would have thought that if it was uterine contractions it would have been happening from the start when BFing is known to help the uterus get back to normal size.

I'm pretty sure it's dehydration. Thanks for the replies, I'm glad I'm not the only one.
