I specifically came to the "test" forum so I would not intrude on other's posts. I am obviously not a spammer since I did already have 5 valid posts over several days time. I think its ridiculous that I just had to spend an hour searching for frivolous chatty threads where I could contribute something just so that I can go back to the real reason I came to B&B - to find support and help with my charting and IF battle.

I'm sure you could have found 5 threads where you could have posted support, advice, or contributed in some way too, without having to make a 'spam' thread to get your post count up. The rules are in place to prevent spammers, and usually members have no difficulty in reaching the required post count just by politely introducing and familiarising themselves across the boards.
