Need Help ttc after depo shot

I had the depo shot in July of 2010. I only had it once because my husband and I decided we wanted another child. I started my period February 2011. It is very regular and every 26 days on the dot. We have been trying since February and no luck. Is there anything I can do? How long does it usually take?

Hi,
with the depo shot although you might be having a period you might not actually ovulate each cycle. it may take a year - 18months to start ovulating again.

My advice is start temping and using opk as these methods wilkl be able to tell you if you are in fact ovulating
