Need help with clear blue advanced OPK please :)

Hi everyone,it's been so long since I have been on here but needed some advice please!

We are in our 2nd proper month of ttc, we were trying in 2013 but got engaged so waited until after we were married to try again...hencee being back on here after all this time!!!

Anyway...I know my cycles very well but still use CB OPKs, the ones with flashing a solid smiley face, normally I get 2 flashing cd 14 & 15 then solid day 16 & 17, however this month I started Testing on day 12 and got a negative circle then on day 13 expected another negative however I got a solid face! We hadn't bd'd in the window so we dtd for the next two days, firstly has anyone ever missed flashing smileys and gone straight to a solid and is this normal? And secondly when you get a solid face does that mean I have already ovulated, I'm worried we have ruined our chances I just have no idea why my cycle has changed!

Hopefully I still have a small chance and haven't missed O.hope someone can help! X

Hi, yes you can go straight to solid smile

Last month I had one day of flashings, and then solid, but this month it was two days of flashing before the solid.
Do you check your temperature too? That's a good way to pinpoint ovulation- for me ovulated the day after the second solid smile x

I haven't been temping as don't want to be too obsessed but think I might start next cycle as I'm so confused...just did my opk again this morning which is 3dpo accordingly to when I got my solid. And guess what...flashing smiley, what the hell is going on with my body! I am CD17 today, does this mean I haven't ovulated yet?! Xx
