Im 38 and hubby is 37. Ive had 3 pregnancies over the last 4 cycles. Lost first one at 5 weeks, second one at 5+4 weeks and Im currently 4+4 weeks but going to lose this one too.

Had all my tests done and come back normal and hubby is good too. Fertility Clinic says its just bad luck.

Has anyone gone through this and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy??? I need some hope to keep going on. Just heartbroken and numb.....

Oh, honey, I'm so sorry. You had all your labs and they can't find anything? My bestfriend and her husband went 15 months before getting a viable pregnancy. She is now almost 38 weeks and expecting her first baby. She's 36. For her, it was low progesterone. Has the doctor given you any suggestions as to what you can possibly do to increase chances of viability? I know they say sometimes even losing a couple pounds can help? Or maybe it has to do with the lining of your uterus being too thin? I wish I had something more comforting to say, or a definitive answer for you. My heart breaks for you and your husband. Don't give up, keep trying. It takes the average woman 6 cycles to get pregnant and stay pregnant. We are having baby number three, due the 27th of January. I will be 37 three weeks after baby is born, so it definitely does happen. :hugs:

I'm 36, hubby is 39, and I'm currently 25 weeks pregnant with my second child. I've had 3 miscarriages, and required clomid to conceive my first Child after 2 years of trying. It can happen, don't give up hope!

Thank you all for your words. Really I don't know where I would be without this site.

Spent the last couple of days changing my mindset. I have started bleeding and lost my mind for awhile, crying and wondering why me????

Im trying to stay positive. We are going to have a baby!!!!! Have to believe that.

Sorry to hear about your losses! :hugs:

However, I wouldn't accept what the Dr. is saying. I would get a 2nd opinion. 3 lost pregnancies in a row is NOT bad luck. There is something not going quite right. Did they do blood work on you and check your hormone levels? A common miscarriage factor is low progesterone levels which can easily be fixed. The sperm is meeting the egg and implanting so I am guessing it has to be hormone related.

Insist you get checked by someone else. Don't settle for the unprofessional answer such as bad luck! Get answers and you will get your little baby. All the best to you!
