Need opinions! Charlie and Declan

I loved the name Charlie a few years ago, but Charlotte as Lisha suggested. Just in case she does not like the adrogenous name. Anyhow it seems to very common now, but I still love it!
Declan, I am not sure how to pronounce? It is very original tho! Either way I think you may change your name in the next few months!

I'm not keen on either, sorry, however i love Charlotte. But as long as you and OH like them thats all that matters.

Declan is pronounced Deck-len
and I like charlie cuz not a lot of girls have that name and its spunky to me
and OH not involved.

I personally would prefer Charlotte with Charlie as a nickname! And I love Declan!

I'm with pretty much everyone else...Declan is cool, but Charlie just isn't feminine enough for my taste. But Charlotte is beautiful, and Charlie would be a good nickname for it. Then she could have some flexibility later to decide what she preferred to be called.

I really like Charlie, and wouldn't go for Charlotte and shorten it - Charlie is nice as it is

my OH really likes Declan but i have poo-pooed it as our surname ends with 'man' so it is a bit too rhymy for us!

lol thank you finallys someone agrees. these could change tho. i know declan MAY change cuz of the whole degrassi thing. lol but i just like it. its different.

I do like Charlie, however I knew a girl who's full name Charlie as a child and unfortunately she used to pretend her full name was Charlotte because she didn't like having a 'boy's name' as she put it. However it's up to you and your opinion matters more than any of ours so do what pleases you!

I like Charlie for a girl -- but would personally use a more feminine spelling -- like Charlee maybe?

Declan is an awesome name -- love it!

I agree, Charlotte and then call her Charlie.
