I have been going over this question in my head for awhile now. We are not telling anybody we are TTC, but (God willing) we will be telling people that I am pregnant someday. I am just not sure what to do about my job! We planned on not saying anything outside of close family until a few months in but I have to tell my work right off because of the nature of my job. I work in a pet store and I am usually the only one working (no help). I have to lift large bags of dog food almost everyday. The sizes range from 5lbs to 44lbs. I feel like I am in a rock and a hard place on this. The only employees are myself and my boss, who is the owner, so we don't have an extra person to come help me. I have shopping carts and a dolly that I can use but there would still be a little lifting involved. So I guess I am just looking for some advice on what I might be able to do when, hopefully, that time comes. Any ideas/input welcome!
