Need some advice please ladies

Has anyone who has had ivf know if the drugs actually mess up your af dates ??? i have always been regular, like clockwork and this month omg i dont know what to think, we had failed ivf in november and this would be my second af date (today) from then and ive got pains in my tummy (i do get these after af has come) and lots of cm (never had this much before) but i was wondering if it might be something to do with the drugs i was taking for ivf ??? why do i bodies do this to us !!!!

I think the drugs do change your cycles because they have to get your body into the specific state they want it to be in for the treatment.

Hiya sorry i meant after failed ivf, so im not using any drugs at the moment x x

Hi - they say it can take up to 3 cycles for AF to go back to normal, thats one of the reasons why most fertility clincs ask you to wait 3 cycles before starting treatment again. I hope it sorts it self out over the next month xx

Yeah it definitely does. Unfortunately.
But maybe do a preggers test aswell, just incase! Xx

ive done two tests now and both say bfn, so ive got to ring my clinic on friday and let them know if af hasnt shown up by then...ill keep you posted but if im not pg then i wish af would hurry up and get her arse in gear xxx

still no sign of af yet !! not done anymore tests might do one in the morning ?? but i feel like im on my period tummy pains and back ache now and again, but nothing else !!! this is doing my head in

Hi just to say I did not get AF for 43 days after a failed cycle. That was back in September. My cycles have now returned to normal. Well normalish. I used to have a 31 day cycle now it seems I have a 29 day one. Anyway, it is normal for the first cycle after failed cycle to be out. Just think about how much trauma the poor ovaries have been through. My clinic, won't touch you until after 3 months (after a failed cycle) personally I think this is sensible as can take a time for drugs to work their way out of your system. It is frustrating when cycle is late and in the end I thought I would explode. I think you can get provera to bring it on if its very delayedxx
