Hello,:flower:

I just want some buddies to talk to and share this agonizing time and support each other through this. What's with my FB wall overloaded with baby announcements and my cousins who are same age as me are either pregnant or had baby already. Though I am happy for them but I must admit in my heart of my heart I am a bit jealous and sad for myself.

So, my situation is. Me and DH ttc for 8-9 months. We ran some tests recently. And they found, I have very mild pcod. Almost no outer symptoms. My hormones are mostly ok too. So, Doctor is not prescribing any specific hormone medicines either.

My DH's SA was done. Result is, Volume- 4ml, Count- 30 Million/ ml, motility - actively motile 50%, sluggishly motile another 25%, morphology 45%.
But he had infection/pus cells in his SA, so he is on antibiotic now.

Doc said, DH's SA was normal but a bit low-normal. She prescribed both of us some medicines. I will start clomid / clomifene? from next cycle.

My questions- 1) Anyone here used clomid and got result?
2) Is there anyone whose DH had sperm count in the range of 30 million/ml and conceived successfully?

Warm hugs to everyone :) Any suggestions at all is very much welcome!

I just wanted to show my support for you! We haven't done testing yet, but I have seen lots of others get pregnant after starting clomid! Best of luck to you guys!

@TTCgamer2.0, Thank you so much for your support dear ♥ We are almost married for 4 years too like you! We will complete 4 years this coming December. We met in 2004 though :)

You have just started ttc it seems? Well, lots of wishes to you and hope we both get our BFP soon!

If my 3 cycle of clomid fails, then doc is getting me tube blockage test. I am super scared about that :(

What about you? How do you stay distracted, and not think about it all the time? I try to keep myself as busy as possible. I work from home, so work, cooking, cleaning and BDing keeps me busy lol :)

I didn't do any testing as my doctor said we couldn't until 1+ years well we got pregnant after 11 months! ha.

It seems like everyone around you is getting pregnant at the same time. There was wave when I had little one 16 months ago, another wave about 6 months ago and it seems another wave is about to begin.

Good luck and stay positive! It's hard to hear when you're TTC but your little bundle will be so worth the wait! After I had my ds I was happy (although that sounds bad) about my MC cause it gave me my perfect lo :)

:dust: :dust: :dust:

littlemisscie, OMG! your boys are so cute!

It's definitely worth the wait. If only I knew that it will happen eventually for sure, the wait would be much bearable and less fearful I guess...

I am currently on CD 22, we are trying alternate days of BD as per doctor's advice. So, this month we have done all that we could do. :winkwink:

Next cycle clomid cycles start for me.

Lots of wishes to you for your 3rd :flower: :happydance:

Applepies! I totally know how you feel!!! Everyone I know has kids is just pregnant or close to having their babies.

DH and I will have been TTC for a year next month. I am on my first cycle using clomid. I wasn't ovulating and then my periods stopped all together, which is when I finally went to the dr. I'm on CD 18 right now.

DH hasn't gotten tested yet, as I was never ovulating so currently i'm not labeled as "infertility" on my insurance yet, just "irregular cycles". So we are waiting to see what happens with the clomid to see if i ovulate. If not, then we will move forward with further testing.

@CrazyCharlie2

Thank you for replying :hugs: I have heard clomid works for many and I am really crossing my fingers for both of us. I hope both of us will get our BFP soon! :dust:

If you do not mind me asking, do you know what was hindering your ovulation? My cycle is not exactly copybook 28 days. Since probably I have mild PCOD and all..but generally I have 26-30 days cycle. A couple of times it was 31-32 days in past one year.

Do you do BD everyday? We do it alternate days as per our docs suggestion. I am not using OPK either. Used it in past and the last days of the cycles was so agonizing that I stopped using it 2 cycles ago. So, now I don't know when I ovulate and which day exactly my AF is due. Which kind of worked better for me than the painful wait / hope / heart-break of waiting for AF days.

Applepies,

It could be anything really, my weight is the probable culprit. But all of my hormones are normal levels so it could be something else. Most of my cycles were 42 days long and shortest was 32 until I stopped having a period all together. My dr thinks that I only ovulated a few times on my own. Which is why we are doing clomid. She suspects I could have a very mild form of PCOD, but it wouldn't show up on testing since the only symptoms i have are no period and i'm a bit overweight, which I am working on, but weight loss takes a long time.

I hope we get our BFP too! I just got my blood drawn to confirm Ovulation for this cycle! Keeping mu fingers crossed for you!!

CrazyCharlie2,

I can totally relate with you, since my doc suspects of mild PCOD too. Don't worry about weight hun, lots of people get pregnant with loads of extra weight. But yes, do exercise and eat healthy as it can't hurt in anyway and actually might help the system. Besides, it is great news that your hormones are ok.

I have some extra fat around my tummy too which I should lose but was being lazy about it. I have taken a resolution that I will exercise for half an hour everyday from the next cycle. My doc has advised the same.

My hormones are mostly ok too. At least docs said so.

Fingers crossed for you too. Let me know how your ovulation test went? :dust:

Just to update, spotting and cramping started. Feeling very down right now. DH says he is losing hope. Which kinda made things worse :'( oh well...

Will start clomid from day after tomorrow if full flow starts today.

Sorry to hear AF came & that you are feeling very down right now, along with your DH.

I know it's so hard when she comes but if there is anything positive at all, it means you can start clomid from tomorrow which will boost your chances hopefully this month.

Be gentle with yourself today though.

Wishing you so much luck & baby dust for this cycle!

xxx

Tink,
Thank you so much for your support. Yes, I am scheduled to start clomid from CD3, that means day after tomorrow if full flow starts today. How are you doing ? Have you ever used clomid?

I guess I have to get over myself soon. What's the point being sad over something I have no control over right? But it is always one thing to think logically and entirely another thing to implement that lol :)

My DH's one time close friend became a daddy today with a baby boy. So, DH is feeling depressed, which is natural I guess. I will try to cheer him up once he is back from work. But I wish I could give him a good news for a change.

So sorry apple!!! I know how hard this can be! Just hang in there! We can do this!!! We WILL have our Babies!!!

My DH has been really great about everything, though I know that he is having just as hard of a time with it as I am. Everything will happen!!! Our Eggos will get Preggos! :)

Something to watch out for, around when I was supposed to Ovulate I was really nauseous for about a day and a half then it was gone. Which can be really normal so don't get freaked out! And make sure you get a blood test done on CD 21 to confirm ovulation! :)

I'm praying that I am preggo. Keeping my FX for you too!!!! <3

Crazy,

So sorry for my late response. Was very busy for scheduling a holiday in December. I am back with my positive mindset again lol :)

Thank you so much for your support! Me and DH are back at it again. I am starting clomid from tonight. CD3 today for me.

Yes, I have heard about nausea while taking clomid, so I am rather expecting it. Thank you for the heads up!

Fx crossed for you and me and all of us hehe :) What CD you are in? Keep us posted ! Hugss!

Hi hope you don't mind me joining in. DH and I have been ttc for 6 months and I know it's not that long but I am feeling very down about it and every time af arrives I just feel worse. This will sound stupid but I am worried I have left it too late (I'm 33) DH wanted to wait until we got married in May n now I feel like what if it's too late. Got a blood test don't for my progesterone levels n getting the results today but af showed up 3 days early so super depressed today. Wow I am all doom and gloom today sorry guys.
Ps I'm new to the forum so haven't sorted out my profile etc yet :-( just wanted to chat with other people who are in the same boat as my friends are all being super positive but then they are all either pg or have just had babies or got kids etc n I feel like I'm a horrid person because I can't just be happy for them :-(
Sorry it's so long. Fingers crossed for you all :-) x

Lrsgym,

Hi! This is my 10th cycle TTC, so you can see I am on same boat as you. It is quite normal to feel down when AF shows hun..I am like that every cycle too. I am so depressed and sad when it happens, but I keep reminding myself, it will happen eventually. By the way I got my hormones, USG and my husband's SA done. We found that I have mild PCOD and husband has normal but a bit lower side of numbers.

Spring right back on hun, we need to keep our mind positive and keep trying. Hope you feel better soon. Hugsss :)

Welcome Lrsgym!! Dont let yourself get too down. Just keep swimming!

Apples - I'm so glad you're back on the Positive side!! :) It can be so hard sometimes.

As for me I get my test results about Ovulation tomorrow. I'm praying so hard that I Ovulated and that we caught the eggie. I'm feeling soem slight cramp like pressure but that could be anything.

Hi back again. Thanks for your messages. I really appreciate it. Just nice to have people who are somewhat in the same situation.
Sooo I got my progesterone test results and it was 23. Dr seemed happy with this but then although it was done on day 2 AF arrived on day 23 so I'm not sure what the numbers mean.
Anyway I explained my concerns and dr asked DH if he would get his boys tested we are sorting that out this week and then will see what those results are. He said that although we've not been trying long as my periods have been a bit hinky recently and given my age and the fact that my only family history (my mum) is of infertility (I was a miracle baby she'd been told she would never have children years before so I guess there's always hope for everyone) he would refer me to a gynae to get some further advice.
I know it's early days but I'm one of those people who'd rather know plus we pay for private health every month the way I see it we might as well use it.
Anyway I am keeping my fingers crossed for you all. I feel more positive now I've taken some solid steps and I hope your all ok today too :-)
