Need some clarification on OPK's

Hi Ladies,

I'm going to start OPK soon in my this cycle.
I used it earlier also, but i badly messed it up.
So just wanted some more inputs.

This is a well known fact that if some one gets positive OPK then it means that she is going to ovulate soon (12-36 hrs).
So my question is, what will be the OPK result when you are just ovulating (or going to ovulate in 2 or 3 hrs) and what will be the OPK result after you ovulated (may be after 12 hrs)

typically will be negative. However...... If you're using clear blue ovulation sticks they will pinpoint your two most fertile days.....You typically ovulated approx 12-36 hours after first positive opk. So on day of ovulation you may get a positive if you experience a quick ovulation....around the 12-24 hours. I would presume 12 hours after ovulation it would be negative...
