Hi, I am in the process of making over DS's room and also the nursery room - DS's room is jungle theme, with bright curtains. The windows are quite large and the only black out blind I could get is in black. I think maybe this will look a bit odd so was thinking of a way I could decorate them. Does anyone know if you can get iron on pictures - maybe stars or jungle theme? And same for the babies room, again maybe stars or teddies?

You can get wall stickers in jungle theme that usually stick to the walls of the nursery, but as long as the blind is a smooth surface I would have thought they'd stick to that too. Fisherprice do some gorgeous ones in the Rainforest range.

I have some lovely stickers, but I think they would peel off when the blind is rolled up or down - may try it though, but thought stars may be more appropriate, glow in the dark would be great!

The gro anywhere blackout blind has stars on it already. Not sure if they glow in the dark though, haven't experimented that far.

Ive already got 2 of the blinds Im afraid.

I suppose I could use a star stencil and spray it on with paint, or even glow in the dark spray paint if I could get it - Im just not very good at creative stuff lol

i have the stickers from fisherprice, the animals of the jungle ones.they stick to everything.

mine are stuck to my blind. i have roller blinds too.

they are pretty expensive, but well worth it. if not, why dont you make your own stencils? and just paint them on, normal paint should stay on pretty well.

You could have a look on ebay. In my experience you can everything on there lol I think stars would look lovely. Where did you get your blinds? we will need one, but have large sash windows xx

I got them from Ikea, I went there to get DS's curtains and bedroom accessories etc. and thought I may as well get them whilst there as were cheaper than getting them made as we needed them to be 200cm wide! Oh is putting it up as we speak
