Hiya, just wondering if any of you ladies could help me. Ive been trying to conceive now for almost 6 years, had 3 miscarriges and quite a few chemical pregnancies. we have started ttc again after a few months break since our last loss in november. im 10dpo and although i swore i wouldnt go overboard this time i totally have. ive analysed every little symtom ive had and yesterday i gave in and took a few tests. totally cofused though as all my ebay cheapies were negitive along with one clear blue (the normal kind, not digital) but one clear blue had a definate + on it within the time limit. ive read before that this can happen but guess im hoping this means something. anyone have any advice?

First off, I am so sorry for your losses :hugs:

And yes, I can give some advice, never buy a blue dye test, ever again :D They are terrible, and give horrible, colored evaps within the time limit. They are no good. I'm sorry you had to be a victim of one. You're not out till AF shows though. Good Luck!!!

I no, usually only ever by first response but my local pharmancy were all out so thought what harm could it do. Guess ive found out now. You hear the stories but never think it will happen to you. Thank you for your advive though. Much appreciated.

oh hun I am so sorry for all your losses :hugs:. I completely understand how you are feeling, and it really sucks. It took me 6 years to get pregnant, until recently I didn't think it was going to happen. Honestly, those blue dye tests are terrible!!!!! However, I did get a for sure positive on the same one you took, the clear blue easy (+/-). And it was a real BFP, I verified with a FRER and a clear blue digital. Was the line thick and blue? I have had false negatives on other blue dye tests but never on the clearblue for whatever reason. Try a digi :) I didn't think that it was going to be positive because my FRER and clearblue easy were faint but to my surprise it was positive. Good luck hun, keep your head up. It is possible, don't give up. I was ready to give up and now here I am 4 weeks along after trying for over 6 years. :hugs::hugs:

Congrats on the little bump kimiw. Nice to know it is possible even it takes a long time. The line was definatly there, not as dark as the horizontal one but very plain. Didnt have to squint to see it or anything. Whats worse is I rang the clear blue helpline and they congratulated me :-( I explained the other two tests I took with the same urine were negative but they claimed there is no such thing as a false positive and gave the whole a line is a line speech. Think im gonna wait a few more days and test with a digi like u suggested. Tho feel like af is gonna show any min, cramps and back ache are so bad today.

Honestly, I am 4 weeks along an I feel like af is going to arrive any minute, so your not out yet! Have u tried a frer? Mine was positive but the line was faint, the clearblue was sooo much easier to read! Keeping my fingers crossed for u! keep me posted!

Im trying to hold out till at least wednesday before testing again. Caved in and tested with a few ebay 10mul tests last night and swear I saw faint lines though think thats probaly wishful thinking as no one else can see them. Must have line eyes lol. Figure if I wait and then test line would be stronger if positive so should avoid confusion on my part. Dont no why I do this to myself lol. Thanks for ur replies though, made me feel much better.
