Need some help!

My lo is currently on c+g 1st milk and we use the dr brown bottles but he seems to struggle with how fast the milk comes out and ends up coughing and spluttering, and we are using the number 1 teats! Any idea how to help him slow down?

Also he seems to be drinking to much in the day anything up to 8 bottles between 3oz - 6oz and if he is awake sometimes an hour after his bottle he wants more, we had it all day yesterday and he was so unsettled!

has he always struggled with the teats? the only thing i can think is try a different brand of bottle (someone told me that avent teats need more "work" to get the milk out, but i don't know how true that is).

when harry wakes in the day, is it definitely for food? do you use a dummy? he might settle with that rather than needing another feed. i wouldn't worry about how many bottles he's having, i think bella was feeding about 8 times a day at a month. also, don't worry about how much he eats, he'll eat what he needs, honestly

Try sitting him up a bit more, thats what i had to do.Also if its not possible to give him less bottles as that is alot maybe talk to someone about giving him a different milk for hungrier babies, i had to do that with my oldest x
