Ladies, I am looking for anyone who has had early m/c or chemical pregnancies and then went on to have a healthy pregnancy without any medication or intervention.

I have lost 2 pregnancies one at 5 weeks and one at 6 weeks. My Doc is not concerned. She said, they were so early the don't reflect a problem with my ability to carry a pregnancy to term. She wouldn't test for anything saying there was no point and we should just keep going and she would see me when I was pregnant. She also said not to take the test before I am a week late to avoid heartbreak of another early loss. Honestly, that's unlikely. With both pregnancies I knew I was pregnant from about a week after ovulation and got BFP at 10 dpo with my last one.

Anyway, I am feeling pretty hopeless as my dpo creep by. I have that pregnant feeling again even though my last cycle was a m/c. I am scared to get a BFP because my temps dropped and are only .4 degrees above the line. Temps are supposed to rise for pregnancies to stick I hear.

I want to know if I am pregnant but feel hopeless that it will last even if I do get the positive. I hate this feeling. Looking for some success stories after loss.

Hello,

Didn't want to read and run. I know several people who have has m/c and gone on to have healthy happy pregnancy with no comps. My mum had 10 m/c before she had me and my 2 brothers (she has a lot of health issues that caused this but still never gave up hope).

I'm sure you will have no problems and i have my finger crossed for you x x

It's possible to have a healty pregnancy even if your temps don't stay up. However, falling temps in your luteal phase can indicate low progesterone levels. If you are concerned about that, then ask your doc to test your levels. If your current one isn't listening to your concerns, then look around for a second opinion. They may perscribe you a progesterone supplement.

I have had a miscarriage I was only 18 years old and married with my 1st husband. I lost the baby on Christmas day 2002....(Dec. 25, 2002) I conceived again February 5th, 2003 and had my son a couple weeks early October 17, 2003! So its going to happen just don't stress yourself out too much that is not good for you....bless your heart..FX for you and God bless!!!

I had a miscarriage at 9 wks.

I am 32 years old.

We waited til I got my proper period back and then tried again and conceived the second month and had a fantastic pregnancy.

In fact, me, my best friend and another close friend all miscarried the first time and had a successful next pregnancy. Another close friend of mine is pregnant at the moment ( 7 months along) and has had 2 miscarriages in the last 7 months.

Think positively :flower:

I don't have any experience myself with MC but figured I'd jump in here anyway. Your temps don't have to stay high to have a successful pregnancy as long as they are above the coverline! My mom had 2 miscarriages after she had me then went on to have my brother and my sister full term, both born healthy! So there's still hope and I wish you the best of luck! So sorry to hear of your losses too :hugs:.

So sorry to hear your sad news.

My sister-in-law had the same, but has gone on to have a lovely bouncy baby! My niece Lily is almost a whole year old now and is HUGE and healthy!

These things happen, but it doesn't mean they'll happen again - hugs and fairydust - I hope Mr Storky's got a sticky bean for you this month! :flower:

Ladies thank you so much, I am feeling much better this afternoon. Helps to get away from staring at my chart!!!
My temps are still above the cover line, just not climbing the way I would like to feel safe. Trusting in God to get me and hubby through this - at least we have each other x Love and bless all of you on this adventure!

There are plenty of women who MC, especially early like that and have no trouble on the one that sticks.

However, if you are worried, I would try to find another doctor who will work with you and address your concerns. Many doctors dont' worry until the 3rd miscarriage, but the most common preventable from people I've ran into is low progesterone. I won't bombard you with all the information, but if they test your progesterone 7dpo, and its low or borderline, it may indicate a problem where your body is barely making enough.

If they test once pregnant and the HCG is looking great but the progesterone looks poor, they can often save the pregnancy with supplements. Some doctors don't believe in it though and think it just prolongs a failing pregnancy. If your gut tells you different, find a new doctor.
