HELP :help:

I started the 30 day shred by Jillian Michaels on the 1st of June... and was going to continue on with it for the entire month of June and get my smoking "shredded" results...

BUT since starting, and getting 10 days in, my back and left knee have been bugging me to the point of tears and I can't seem to push myself to keep motivated.

I'm heavily overweight and need to do something, but I don't have any motivation... I need help! And Support, and maybe a buddie to help me through this?

I'd love to be able to lose another 15 pounds before the end of the month, but.... I have a feeling that might be pushing it just a little bit too much.

Any other mommies want to join me in the fight to battle the bulge? (preferrably mommies who are in the 200lb range and 20's so they can relate to my fat body...but anyone is defo welcome! :) )
 
Hiya. Is this a game or dvd? Ive heard alot people talking about this, im tempted.
Ive got biggest loser game & love it! Lost 22lbs on first 8 week programme.

Personally i think 15lbs before end of the month is way to high. Only recommanded you lose 1-2lb a week as at this steady rate less likely to regain it all back. 3 weeks left in this month? so 6lb highest taget id say. Well done on loss so far.

Im 20, started my weight loss at 240lb im now 193.5lbs :)
 
It's a Dvd and it seriously kicks your butt SO BAD!
I was dying at the end of day1...
BUT now, due to my back and knees being buggered up, I can't do it anymore... it hurts too much, and I can't even lift Preston out of his crib without being in excrutiating pain. :( BUT I would recommend this dvd to someone who's more active to begin with!

I know about the 2 pounds a week, but what about the people on the Biggest Loser? They're losing sometimes 5 pounds a week etc... so I'm not sure about the only 2 pounds a week :shrug:

BUT I'd love to be able to get down to at least 230 by the end of July, so a month and a half to lost 15 more pounds shouldn't be too bad. :)

I am over 200lbs and am losing weight by calorie counting and exercise-would be hapy to join you or you are well to join me in my open therad!

I agree with the above, set realistic attainable goals so that you don't get discouraged. Good luck!

Those people are fed a certain diet, are locked up away from their regular lives and they exercise a lot more than a normal person would, they have personal trainers and they are pushed to the limit to shed the weight. You are not in that situation and you also have to think of your body.. it has to adjust, talk to your Gp about it... losing weight drastically can be pretty hard on your body, just like gaining weight is.

I'm in my twenties too, I don't weigh the same as you though. I don't actually know what I weigh.. too scared to check but I know I'm overweight. I've lost two pantsizes now since Mar 31st... looking to drop another 4 sizes... feels like a long road! Anyway just wanted to let you know I'll cross my fingers for you! (And also here's that good swift kick in the ass.. you asked for it... LOL)
