My baby is 19 days old and I am breast feeding... well trying really hard at least!!!! Leia (my daughter) was having trouble sucking at the breast - she would fall asleep, so I went to breastfeeding clinic and they had me breastfeed then pump and then top Leia up with breast milk from a bottle... well now she is having trouble latching - which she never did before!
I am soooooo frustrated! It seems like every time I fix one issue another arises! Some nights I get so upset and frustrated that I start crying and DH keeps telling me to switch to formula, but I don't want to - I just feel like I'm a bad mom because I can't properly feed my own baby!

I had nights like that hun.

It will get better. X

Honestly you just need to persevere.

I wouldn't worry about lining and bottles its extra faff that you don't need.

If she's falling asleep then maybe she's full for a while? It's not great but at her age babies can feed once an hour or more with naps in between. X It doesn't stay that way for long though.

Your doing great.
Me and a friend both had a couple of weeks when we would get upset in the evenings in the 1st couple of weeks after giving birth.
Has your baby got back to her birth weight. If she has maybe she is full when she goes to sleep so just keep breastfeeding whenever she needs in.
Lots of skin to skin may help her with wanting to breastfeed.
Tell your oh that you need support by encouraging you and bringing you food and drinks. I'm sure he's only trying to help but doesn't know how to.
It will get better. You get to about 6 weeks and it is so much easier than it is now. :)
