Need to vent frustration

So yesterday father in law (who I get on great with - just as well is we live next door), popped in. and when leaving said, "so are you enjoying your time off work".......................

OH YEH im having a blast,..... DUH,

I would do anything to be in my work, stressed out my box, nackered, but still have Gillian growing inside me...... ARGGGGGGGGGG

I dont think he meant it to be nasty or anything and I think once he said it, and got my responce of, EH NO NOT REALLY..... he clicked that he may have said something wrong.

But Blinking hell, think before you speak man......................

Hopefully your father in law had a "foot in mouth" moment, and didn't mean to hurt you by his comments.

So sorry that he didn't think before he spoke. I am sure he feels bad about it after walking outside and thinking did I really just do or say that

I just had one of those moments the other day. I posted on a thread and said something I didn't think about how it would be taken until after it was already up there. and I offended a few people by that. It was not my intention, I just worded it wrongly.
And I didn't think about it until after it was done. Some people just don't realize how their words can be twisted or taken as hurtful when they really aren't meant to be that way. Especially after a loss like the one your going through. And the reason behind you being off work.
