Need your help ladies

I really need your help ladies, I am currently doing follicular tracking (just off my own back - as I don't want to go down the hormone route just yet just because of side effects etc) anyway....I went for a scan last week on Tuesday and my dominant follicle was 12 mm and endometrial lining was 5 mm; went for a re-scan today and my dominant follicle has shrunk to 10mm!!! my endometrial lining has got to 6.5mm. The sonographer said she had never ever seen this and she used to work at Chelsea and Westminster IVF clinic. Does anyone else have any ideas?
I am really disheartened about this
