negative, positive, negative all in the same day?

So mother's day I took my opk around 11 am it was negative, then around 3 p.m it was positive! (yay wonderful gift for mother's day) but then my curiousity got to me so I took another one around 10 p.m, it was negative again . Then today I have taken two and both negative again My temps are still down, so I won't know for a few days if I really did O. What do you think? Do you think maybe I had a really short surge? or just my body gearing up and then not actually ovualting? I did have ewcm on the day I got my positive (i'm usuing clearblue easy digital ovulation test)thanks!

I'm sorry I wish I could help but I have no idea! I haven't started using OPK's yet so I have no idea what's normal and what's not. I hope someone can give you an answer soon!

Hey there.sounds like you could have had a really short surge. I didn't get one positive opk the month I got pregnant with this one. We just DTD every second day instead. Lol. Alot cheaper and made it more likely to catch the egg.

my positive only stay about 6 hours or so
you could just have a short surge time so have sex to be on safe side

I was just wondering why my temps have not risen yet? I thought your temp rises after ovulation? Also sorry if tmi but I have a lot of cramy cm today? Thanks so much

Thanks ladies! nope I'm not on any kind of meds. This actually happened to me last month also. I'm so confused. I wonder if i'm ovulating at all, or just my body is gearing up several times during the month with no luck. Maybe this is why we have been ttc 1 1/2 yrs w/ no luck. I have an appt. w/ a fertility dr. next week so I'll find out what he thinks.
