nesting!

I posted this in the teen thread, but..

When did your nesting instincts take hold? I'm almost 26 weeks and I've just started to clean hardcore and get the nursery set up. It seems that everyone else is getting everything done before me. Maybe it's because they have more energy? I've been really tired, and only lately have I had the energy to nest, even though I'd been dying to get things done since around 20 weeks.

Hi, we are due on the same day!

I've been wanting to work on baby related things, but I've been so busy with everything else. Right now I am finally choosing fabrics and I want to make a baby quilt & curtains.

And my house has been getting progressively cleaner and more organized since the sickness went away around 18 weeks.

I am sure everyone's internal nesting clock is just different, but with my daughter, full on nesting didn't start until I was 30-something weeks along.

My nesting instinct did not kick in until about 36 weeks last time... I wish it would kick in now my house is a pig sty and it could really do with a big clean... but i only have the weekends to spend with my son so i have not been cleaning much at weekends....

I'm nesting in my bed but physically just can't do it due to the SPD and my low energy levels. This is very irritating as I keep looking at rooms and things in rooms and seeing filth. I do not live in a filthy apartment but it feels like it at the moment. OH and I did start clearing the bedroom which will be KB's nursery and I'm going to do the little bits I can every day but I've been delegated a supervisory role in the nursery room making for the big stuff.

I think nesting kicks in at different points for different pregnancies and people. I have already started nesting, but other than cleaning the baby things will have to wait until after my scan on Dec 23rd. I also have no place to set up a nursery so that is going to frustrate me to no end. Baby will room with us.
