37 and TTC #3

Has anyone ever had a never ending OPK test?
It seems like it's positive every single day!
I'm talking about almost 15 days of positive opks!
(I test because I am a POAS junkie)

It's driving me nuts!

I'll update later with my cycle info....

But just quickly, I was wondering if anyone had ever
experienced this? Are my hormones way off balance?

I thought it might be indicating pregnancy, but
I've taken two pregnancy tests - - one just this morning
and it's negative.

The 2nd line on OPK strip has to be darker then the other......
are all test strips darker or just there.....?

Hope it all works out to be a positive "pregnancy" test instead of OPK....

Try peeonastick.com. there is a section on opk's. I think it talks about if its always positive. x

can you post a photo of them.. what time are you taking them each day

I notice when I do it with FMU I ALWAYS get a strong dark line

Have you any idea if you could have PCOS? I have heard that people that have this always test positive on OPKS. However, you already have 2 children, I suppose you would have been told when examined with previous pregnancies should that be the case. Anyway, sorry I have no other suggestions, unless you should be pregnant (another reason why OPK's are positive all the time) Edit: I just saw you said you took some pregnancies tests... I don't know then, unless you take longer to show on a POAS XXX

Thank you ladies for the input. I'm going to try and post pics later this evening.

It could be PCOS. I used to always get positives on them no matter when I tested. I had to buy the less sensitive ones....x

I get endless positives - I now just chart on ff instead - poas every day for weeks on end was so demoralising and I find charting a lot better

with me my body gears up ready to ov but then doesnt so thats why I get positives a lot

hope this helps

:flower:

This never happened to me, but it does sound like pcos.

Good Luck hun:hugs:

Some companies market OPKs of different sensitivities - could be worth trying some of the less sensitive ones.
