Never let kids know what you have got for other people!

My brother-in-law took my nephew, Alfie (2yo) out shopping yesterday. When they came home my sister started unpacking the bags and Aflie said to her, "It's okay mummy the lady in the shop already wrapped up your necklace"! haha

He then went on to tell her, "But we didn't get your book today Daddy said he spent too much on the necklace but we will get it another time."! Oh my! I am never taking Anna Christmas shopping with me lol She can stay with her Daddy!!

Then my mum phoned me up and my brother (also 2) wanted to talk to me, when my mum passed the phone to him he started going on about how he had wrapped up Alfie's present. "Oh did you?" I asked, "Yes it's very exciting we got him an iron and it's got an ironing board, too"... "Oh good" ... "It's a surprise, though" .... As soon as he saw Alfie, though, "Oh Alfie under the tree - that's your present - It's an iron - but you can't have it till Christmas." OMG lol

Alexander (my brother) has also told Anna that my mum has got her a rocking horse, that sings when you press its ear - he went in to great detail... Fortunate that she doesn't understand him really!

My OH's lil sister is the same......'Sophie you musn't tell daddy what we got him for xmas' He walks in 'Daddy, you can't go upstairs.....mum is hiding the telescope we got you!!'

My son went to Santa's workshop at school a few weeks back. You give them money and they buy something for a gift for daddy, etc.

Before he went in he said he was going to buy me makeup. When I picked him up after, first thing he says is "I got you makeup."

I wrapped up Josh's presents in front of him, he tried to grab one and had a proper tantrum when I took it away to wrap it!
