New and a little bit nervous

Hi Folks,

Just a quick note to say hi and get to know you all a bit better!

I'm 24 and have just had the 'oh my god - we want kids' convo with my other half. Scary much? So the terrifying process of trying to get enough money to buy a bigger house (we have too many pets and too much junk to survive where we are at the moment) begins, and some big life decisions have to be made. I wanted to retrain for a new career - do we have babies before or after this (sometime around 2014 before I would be done), are we ready to sign our lives away to a tiny little person who is going to bring life as we know it to an abrupt halt, and...and....even just thinking about waiting to try is terrifying - and it doesnt get any easier does it?????
