New baby and tax credits

So I am already receiving tax credits for my son but have recently had a baby when I went and registered her the lady did a tell us once where she went through and told all the people that needed to be told including tax credits people is that all that needs to be done or do I have to call and tell them

But yes you need to call tax credits to let them know, I think that was what you ment

id still call the tax office, when i registered Lexi and they said they would tell every1, Lexi was 6wks and i still hadnt heard from them so i rang. They never had any information about me having a baby. I did get back dated tho x
