Great!! I'm CD 2! I was so bummed when I got my on our first cycle... I shouldn't have expected it to be easy though. I see all these ladies that try for years with no success and honestly, I would have felt a little guilty had we had conceived on the first try! It was a disappointment but I'm ready for round 2!
I remember my first cycle coming off bcp being convinced that I was pregnant! Getting pregnant has definitely proven to be much harder than I was taught in high school health classes! I've been off bcp since April and am bummed each month when AF shows but hopefully this will be our cycle!
I know exactly what you mean! After AF showed up, I had a good cry and then quickly picked myself up, got online, ordered some opks and pregnancy tests, and thought to myself "we got this!" Haha! The first cycle didn't seem like it took very long. This one, however, is dragging ooooon
I usually have a 34 day cycle so each cycle seems to take forever! What brand of opks and Hpts did you order? I got some wondfos a few months back but haven't really used them yet, was hoping I would t need to! But I'm definitely going to start using the opks this month! Anything to get that bfp!
Welcome supergongjoo! The tww is brutal regardless of what cycle you are on! I am a notorious symptom spotter and convince myself each month that I am pregnant only to have AF show up right on time! I also have a tendency to be a poas addict so I have set the goal to only test this month if AF is late! Hopefully I can stick to it!
So I'm not Cd1 or 2 but I think I'll be getting AF any day now. I had a miscarriage almost 5 weeks ago so not sure when to expect AF. This will be my 8th cycle.
@mrspress absolutely! the tww is always the HARDEST times.
I have a 32 day cycle and i recently realized my luteal is only 11 days. Ive been doing my research and ive found a luteal phase of at least 12 days is ideal. So now im going google crazy trying to find remedies and im STILL IN my tww hahaha. That seems to be my way to relive some of the anxiousness of the tww research cures for potential issues.
@mrs green so sorry to hear AF got you. are you planning anything different for your next cycle?
Super- the last month we were Ttc I took black cohosh and progestrone and it worked! It was the very first month we tried it so I'll be doing that again. I also have a short LP at about only 8-9 days. I took black cohosh and it moved up ovulation for me. Also progestrone may be able to help too. It keeps AF away.
Steph- glad AF is letting up! I've never ordered online but I really should. I have a pack of digital opks for this cycle though.
@stephanie one step measures at 10? thats pretty sensitive! Im going to have to look into that
@mrs green yes i am a huge fan of maca raspberry leaf tea and black cohosh. i did notice my ovulation day was a little earlier this cycle but so far it hasnt been as consistent as i would like it to be. how many tea bags do you drink of black cohosh?
I was looking into progesterone but im a bit nervous about self medicating with hormones.
@stephanie black cohosh is a tea taste SUPER bitter. i drink about 2 teabags aday for cd 1-10 every cycle. its supposed to be a natural version of clomid. i would def suggest you look into it.
I actually take the pill form of black cohosh. You can get it at any store that sells medication. I got mine at Walmart. I take 120mg from cd1-12ish. The one cycle I took it I of on cd 13-14 when before it was like cd23ish.
The progestrone is actually perscribed. I would be too scared to self perscribed hormones too.
Why didn't I think of taking the pill form?! Probably less painful than gulping down that tea. Thanks for the tip.
Oh you are just like me lol I was thinking of asking for some help from my doc but the last time I went in she told me not to worry until a year of ttc... so I am in between gynos. It's very important to me my concerns are taken seriously lol
Steph- No idea about the tea lol I didn't even know that existed. But I like the pill knowing how many mg I am getting.
Super- I felt the same way about my doc. I asked for something to just help a little and she perscribed progestrone and said if it doesn't work in 3 months go to the fertility clinic.
