I was not thrilled with having to wait until January 21 to have my first appointment considering I'm probably 5-6 weeks already. I also regretted my hospital choice once I discovered another hospital was closer and far easier traffic wise to get to.
So this weekend I went to a clinic in the neighborhood that takes walk ins and was accepting new patients and I'm really glad I did. The doctors there deliver at the hospital of my choice and their website emphasizes that baby will be their patient as well once he/she is born.
When we got to the doctor's office the first thing we saw was a massive bulletin board behind reception that was completely covered in baby pictures.
My first appointment is next Monday, yay for no long wait! They tell me I'll be seeing them about once a month...what a relief. I was feeling seriously neglected before.
