New here and spotting question

Hello! Husband and I have been trying to conceive with baby #2 for over a year now. I recently had thyroid and other hormones checked and they came back just fine. Husband will be going soon for a semen analysis.
I am currently cycle day 9 and starting yesterday I had some light achyness and then when I went to the bathroom there was light pink discharge when I wiped. It did that yesterday morning and then again yesterday evening. I woke up today and had the same light pink discharge when I wiped and have had some on and off achyness again. I've read about ovulation bleeding.... but this would be pretty early ovulation for me, my temps haven't changed, and I been doing ovulation test and haven't had a positive yet. Any ideas on what could be going on?

I am new to the forum also, but felt compelled to reply as I fall victim to the "spotting game" nearly every month. I am constantly questioning if the spotting/super light flow I see could be Ovulation spotting, IB, or the beginnings of AF. I am wondering how regular your cycles are? If they are extremely out of whack like mine then it's good to be aware of the fact that sometimes our bodies just seem to like to confuse us. Of course, it could be something more promising like IB, so don't let me discourage you too much. I hope you get the BFP your hoping for soon and just thought it would be nice to let you know your not alone in the realm of spotting confusion.
